Senior cook (assistant kitchen leader)

Job description

  • Assist the Kitchen Leader in daily kitchen operations
  • Prepare and cook Western breakfast menu items with consistent quality and presentation
  • Supervise junior kitchen staff and ensure kitchen SOPs are followed
  • Ensure food preparation meets hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards
  • Coordinate with floor team to ensure smooth service flow and timing
  • Monitor food quality, portion control, and waste management
  • Support kitchen operations during busy service hours
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas

Qualifications

  • Male or Female
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Cook / Senior Cook (Western or breakfast restaurant preferred)
  • Familiar with Western breakfast menus and kitchen workflow
  • Able to lead, guide, and support kitchen team
  • Understand food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and early morning shifts
  • Good attitude, disciplined, and responsible

Floor supervisor

Job description

  • Responsible for daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • Supervise floor staff and ensure service standards are consistently met
  • Handle customer service, guest complaints, and special requests professionally
  • Create and manage staff work schedules and attendance
  • Coordinate with kitchen team to ensure food quality and service timing
  • Monitor GoFood and GrabFood orders, including order accuracy and customer communication
  • Prepare and serve basic coffee and beverages when needed (non-professional level)
  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and restaurant SOPs are followed at all times

Qualifications

  • Female, well-groomed, friendly, and professional attitude
  • Fluent in English (spoken and basic written)
  • Familiar with Western breakfast menus and concepts
  • Able to prepare basic coffee and beverages (not required to be a professional barista)
  • Experienced in handling GoFood and GrabFood orders
  • Previous experience as a Floor Supervisor or similar role is preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and morning shifts
