The Junction Restaurant is looking for an experienced, dynamic and hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team and oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.

We are looking for a hospitality professional with a strong sense of service, excellent leadership skills and a genuine passion for creating an outstanding guest experience.

The ideal candidate will combine a high level of hospitality with strong operational and commercial skills, ensuring that the restaurant runs efficiently while maintaining excellent service standards and a welcoming atmosphere.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth, efficient and professional service.
• Lead, train, motivate and supervise the front-of-house team.
• Maintain consistently high standards of customer service, hospitality and restaurant presentation.
• Welcome guests, build customer loyalty and handle feedback or complaints professionally.
• Organise staff schedules, manage attendance and monitor team performance.
• Recruit, train and develop team members to maintain a motivated and professional workforce.
• Monitor sales, revenue, operating costs and overall restaurant profitability.
• Manage stock, purchasing, inventory and wastage in coordination with the Head Chef.
• Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure excellent communication between the kitchen and service teams.
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements to service quality and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, workplace safety and applicable local regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming restaurant environment.
• Oversee POS operations, cash handling, daily reporting and administrative procedures.
• Support management with budgeting, promotions, business development and strategies to increase revenue.
• Lead by example and maintain a positive, professional and guest-focused working environment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a comparable senior restaurant management position.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, preferably in a quality casual dining, bistro or international restaurant environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication and team management skills.
• A genuine passion for hospitality, customer satisfaction and service excellence.
• Strong commercial awareness, including sales analysis, cost control and staff productivity.
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, stock management and restaurant reporting.
• Ability to manage busy services while maintaining high standards and attention to detail.
• Confident in handling guest complaints and resolving operational challenges effectively.
• Fluent or highly proficient in English; Indonesian language skills are an advantage.
• Well organised, proactive, reliable and capable of working independently.
• A hands-on management style with the ability to motivate a multicultural team.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, international hospitality environment.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Competitive monthly salary, with a reference level of IDR 25,000,000 and the final package negotiable according to skills, experience and suitability for the role. There is no fixed salary ceiling for the right candidate.
