Steward staff

We are looking for a Steward staff for a new wellness club in bali.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school (SMA/SMK), preferably in Hospitality or Culinary; 1 year of experience in a similar role (fresh graduates allowed, experience as steward is a plus).
  • Physically fit, able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays; disciplined, hardworking, and able to perform in a busy kitchen environment; basic English communication is an advantage.
  • Proficient in cleaning procedures for kitchen equipment, dishes, glassware, and cutlery, maintaining kitchen hygiene according to HACCP standards.
  • Knowledgeable in safe and proper use of cleaning chemicals and sanitizers; capable of operating dishwashing machines and other kitchen cleaning equipment.
  • Understands proper waste segregation (organic, inorganic, recyclable) according to hotel policy, and ensures clean equipment is provided on time for buffet, banquet, and room service operations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, work areas, and stewarding areas according to hotel standards.
  • Ensure proper use of chemicals following procedures for food hygiene and safety through the implementation of HACCP standards.
  • Respond quickly to provide clean equipment for kitchen and service needs.
  • Properly care for, organize, and store kitchen tools and equipment efficiently and neatly.
  • Serve as a key part of the kitchen and restaurant operations backbone by ensuring all facilities and equipment are ready for use.
