WE ARE HIRING — HEAD CHEF

Location: Bali | Seminyak area

The Junction Restaurant is looking for an experienced, passionate and hands-on Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and maintain high standards of food quality, consistency and service.

We are looking for a chef with a strong background in European and Asian cuisine, a genuine passion for food, and the leadership skills to run a professional, well-organised and efficient kitchen.

YOUR ROLE

• Lead, manage and motivate the kitchen brigade.
• Maintain excellent standards of French and European cuisine.
• Develop and refine menus in line with the restaurant’s concept and clientele.
• Ensure consistency in presentation, taste, quality and portion control.
• Manage food costs, stock levels, purchasing and supplier relationships.
• Control waste and maintain kitchen profitability.
• Ensure high standards of food hygiene, safety and kitchen organisation.
• Train and develop team members while maintaining discipline and a positive working environment.
• Work closely with management to improve kitchen performance and the overall guest experience.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or an experienced Senior Sous Chef ready to take the next step.
• Strong knowledge of European and Asian cuisine, with a solid understanding of classical techniques and modern restaurant operations.
• Minimum 5 years of professional kitchen experience, including significant leadership responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a brigade and deliver consistent results during busy services.
• Strong skills in menu development, food costing, stock control and kitchen operations.
• A hands-on leader who leads by example and takes pride in quality, detail and presentation.
• Good command of English and the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
• Reliable, organised, creative and commercially minded.

• Monthly salary of IDR 25,000,000–40,000,000, depending on experience and suitability.
