- Guest relation & villa operations supervisor
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on and highly organised hospitality professional to join a luxury villa complex in Ubud.
The primary focus of this role is guest relations. You will be the main point of contact for our guests, ensuring that every stage of their stay is comfortable, well organised and delivered according to luxury hospitality standards.
The position also includes coordinating the daily work of approximately 12 villa employees across housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance and security.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest relations, villa operations, front office or hospitality supervision.
- Experience coordinating a hospitality team.
- Strong spoken and written English.
- Confident and professional communication with international guests.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Ability to solve problems calmly and independently.
- Responsible, proactive and hands-on approach.
- Comfortable using WhatsApp and preparing simple daily reports.
- Based in or able to commute reliably to Ubud.
- Available to work flexible hours according to guest arrivals and villa operations.
Main responsibilities
- Welcome guests and remain their main point of contact throughout their stay.
- Communicate professionally with guests in person and via WhatsApp.
- Organise check-ins, check-outs and special guest requests.
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve requests or problems promptly.
- Coordinate the daily work of approximately 12 villa employees.
- Supervise housekeeping and inspect villa cleanliness before guest arrivals.
- Coordinate the chef and kitchen team according to guest requirements.
- Monitor staff schedules, attendance and completion of assigned duties.
- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, common areas, pool and villa facilities.
- Report maintenance issues and follow up until they are fully resolved.
- Ensure luxury service and presentation standards across all departments.
- Provide regular operational updates to management.
