A leading hospitality group in Ubud is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join the pre-opening team of a new contemporary Italian restaurant in Ubud.

We're looking for a hands-on leader with strong restaurant operations experience, excellent people skills, commercial awareness, and a passion for refined service and guest experience.

Requirements

• Open to local and expatriate candidates.
• 3–5 years' restaurant or hospitality management experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in Asia.
• Experience in premium or refined dining concepts.
• Knowledge of Italian food, wine and service preferred.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Good understanding of P&L, budgeting and cost control.
• Strong guest service, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Confident using POS systems and basic reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pre-opening and daily restaurant operations.
• Maintain strong floor presence and service standards.
• Lead, train and develop the team.
• Implement and maintain SOPs and operational procedures.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams.
• Manage scheduling and operational readiness.
• Handle guest feedback and service recovery.
• Support recruitment and onboarding.
• Drive operational improvements and efficiency.
• Report regularly to the Group Operations Manager.
