Restaurant manager

We are seeking an experienced restaurant manager with a specialization in Western cuisine. Our ideal candidate has honed their skills in restaurants known for serving high-quality, sophisticated Western fare. While prior experience with Western ownership is preferred, it is not mandatory. Consideration will also be given to candidates with a background in Western cuisine within the luxury hotel sector.

• We are actively seeking experienced and skilled managers who possess an understanding of marketing, with a focus on promoting our new restaurant to the vibrant community of Uluwatu, Bali, as well as the wider global audience. Working closely with our dedicated marketing team, the manager will be entrusted with the execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy on-site, ensuring our restaurant's brand reaches its fullest potential.

• Furthermore, adept budget analysis and meticulous cost planning will be integral to the manager's responsibilities, making it crucial for them to possess a genuine affinity for numbers and enjoy working with financial data. In addition, staff training and development will be a paramount task, ensuring our team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

• We are searching for candidates who possess a profound understanding of wines and cocktails. While our owner, a distinguished level 4 WSET diploma holder and certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, serves as an inspiring source of expertise, we expect every candidate to have a solid foundation in wine knowledge and a deep motivation to expand their understanding, ultimately honing the skills of a sommelier.

• Last but not least, effective communication skills are crucial, as the role requires exceptional leadership, the ability to inspire and motivate the team, and occasional authoritative decision-making.
