Cook staff

We are looking for a Cook staff for a new wellness club in bali.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school (SMA/SMK) in Culinary, Hospitality, or related field, with at least 1 year of experience as a cook or kitchen helper in a hotel, restaurant, or catering (preferably in 4/5-star hotels); basic English communication skills for kitchen terms and coordination.
• Physically fit, able to work shifts (morning, afternoon, night), weekends, and public holidays; disciplined, agile, and able to work under high-pressure situations.
• Proficient in basic cooking techniques including boiling, grilling, frying, roasting, sautéing, and steaming; knowledgeable in recipes, ingredients, and portion standards for hotel menus (buffet, à la carte, room service).
• Adhere to HACCP standards: maintain cleanliness of work area, proper storage of ingredients, and stock rotation (FIFO).
• Skilled in operating kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens, grills, steamers, fryers, and other tools; able to perform basic cutting of meat, fish, vegetables, and simple plating according to standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, SOPS, and hotel standards, ensuring consistent taste, texture, and presentation.
• Ensure all cooking processes comply with hygiene and food safety standards.
• Demonstrate good food quality and fast delivery, especially during peak hours, while coordinating effectively with CDP, cooks, stewards, and service teams to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
• Possess thorough menu knowledge, including ingredients, cooking methods, and portioning, to optimize ingredient efficiency and minimize waste.
