Waitress

The Layar Designer Villas & Spa in Seminyak is looking for an experienced Waitress.

Employment status: Full-Time

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent, preferably in Hospitality or Food & Beverage.
• Previous experience as a Waitress, Server, or in a similar position is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Friendly, polite, presentable, and customer-oriented.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
• High attention to detail, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
• Willing to learn about Italian cuisine, menu ingredients, food preparation methods, and wine or beverage pairings.
• Able to handle guest orders accurately and provide excellent dining experiences.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus and explain Italian dishes, ingredients, and daily specials.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and beverages according to restaurant service standards.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests and complaints.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and the dining area.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and restaurant service standards.
• Assist with table setup, clearing, and resetting.
• Promote menu items and provide recommendations to guests when appropriate.
